The Planning Commission is established to:

•  Develop and update the comprehensive plan (or master plan);
•  Develop and update the zoning ordinance;
•  Conduct public hearings and advise the Township Board on planning and zoning issues;
•  Make recommendations on special land uses, planned unit developments and site plans,  as well as the construction, location and character of streets, squares, parks or other public ways, grounds or open space, or public buildings and structures.

The regular meetings of the Hartland Township Planning Commission for the year 2010 will be held on the following dates.  All meetings are open to the public.
