    Heritage Park

Hartland’s winter festival will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from noon to 7:00 PM at Heritage Park. This family-friendly event is FREE to all attendees (thanks to our local area sponsors and community volunteers) and the festival activities have been designed to appeal to ALL ages and weather conditions:

    • Ice-less Ice Rink (with free skate use)
    • Ice-carving Demonstrations
    • KnockerBall
    • Ice Bowling
    • Tundra Volleyball
    • Photos with Live Reindeer
    • Face Painting
    • Cookie Decorating
    • Bonfires & Smores
    • Characters from Frozen
    • LIVE Family-friendly Performances!

NEW this year — all the activities at Heritage Park (except for the reindeer, and the fireworks display at the end of the day) will be available throughout the entire event beginning at noon!

The entertainment will take place in a large heated tent, and will be a great place to hang out and get warm while watching or listening to local performers. Not to be missed: professional fireworks will wrap up Winterfest, beginning around 6:30 PM.

Our Neighbors Next Door at All Saints Lutheran

SOUP. All Saints Lutheran Church (at the eastern edge of Heritage Park) will be hosting Hartland SOUP- Winterfest Edition inside the church for seatings at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. For a $5.00 donation, an attendee can contribute to a local charitable project while enjoying a hot bowl of home-made soup.

[Want to present (and potentially fund!) your non-profit project at Hartland SOUP – Winterfest? Submit this Hartland SOUP – Winterfest PROPOSAL FORM in print at Cromaine Library OR email it to web@cromaine.org no later than 8:00 PM on January 15, 2018.]

ACTIVITIES. Join Hartland's Cromaine Library from 1-6:00 PM in the LOBBY of All Saints Lutheran Church for activities and fun inspired by the beloved children's book, The Snowy Day by Jack Ezra Keats. Activities include a craft, snow ball toss, and a reading of The Snowy Day by Jack Ezra Keats every hour on the hour.

KIDS' BREAKFAST & CRAFT FAIR. All Saints is also kicking off Winterfest 2018 with a Children’s Breakfast for families at 10:30 AM (preregistration/fee required), and they encourage Winterfesters to attend the church’s annual Craft Fair which runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For more information about the Children’s Breakfast or Craft Fair, please contact the church directly at 248.887.8060.

Winterfest 2018 is the perfect excuse to experience Hartland’s outdoor living at its most friendly. Plan to join your friends, family and Hartland community on January 27 for a spirit-warming day in the middle of our cold Michigan winter…

And make life easy: free parking and shuttle service will be offered at the Rural King parking lot!
