    Road Repair

Roads within Hartland Township are owned maintained by either the State of Michigan, Livingston County or private owners.   The Township does not own or maintain any roads within our borders.

Regardless, road conditions are a major concern of residents as evidenced by the number of calls that we receive and responses to our recent Citizen Survey.  As a result, the Township convened a Safer Roads and Pathways Task Force in late 2013 to study this issue and determine if the Township should step into this issue and, if so, at what level.

For more information on the Safer Roads and Pathways Initiative, please click here.

To report an issue with State Roads (M-59 and US23), please contact the Michigan Department of Transportation at 517-373-2090.

To report an issue with a County road, please contact the Livingston County Road Commission at (517) 546-4250.
