The Department of Public Works is responsible for the administration, coordination and general oversight of several public works functions and services to Hartland Township residents and property owners, including:

Street Lights
Most of the street lights throughout Hartland are maintained by DTE or Consumers. Those located near the Hartland Road roundabout are maintained by the Livingston County Road Commission. If you notice any street light out, please email the Department of Public Works so that we can contact the appropriate entity for repairs.
