Clerk
The office of Township Clerk is an elected board position that holds a four-year term. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administering the Oath of Office for all Township elected officials.
- Maintaining the Township's records retention, storage, and timely destruction
- Preparation of minutes of the Township board meetings
- Updating and publishing of changes in Zoning and Code Ordinances
- Approving, signing, and recording all vouchers for payment from budget accounts
Elections
- Maintaining current voter registration records
- Plans, organizes, and oversees federal, state, and local elections in accordance with State and Federal Law
- Training and hiring election workers.
- Encourage and educate the public on voter registration.
