Brightening Hartland: Hartland Area Community Council Illuminates the Holiday Season

The Village of Hartland sparkled with a renewed sense of festive cheer this past holiday season, thanks to the efforts of our local Hartland Area Community Council. With a thoughtful allocation of ARPA funds this civic minded group aimed to enhance the community's seasonal ambiance through a dazzling display of holiday decorations.

The organization worked to purchase and install festive lights and decorations across the historic buildings and prominent areas of Hartland. This transformation includes adorning structures with elegant holly clusters, vibrant poinsettias, and grandiose wreaths, creating a picturesque scene that warmly welcomes residents and visitors alike.

The decision to utilize funds for this project reflects a strategic approach by the community leaders to not only beautify the Village but also uplift spirits during a time when community cohesion and celebration are more meaningful than ever. The involvement of local organizations underscores the collaborative spirit that defines Hartland Township. Their efforts to oversee the purchase, placement, and maintenance of these decorations ensure that every detail contributes to a memorable and enchanting holiday experience for all.

And for the upcoming holiday season in 2024, Hartland Area Community Council has even more planned. The first ever “Vintage Christmas in the Village of Hartland” will celebrate the start of the holiday at the historic Hartland Music Hall. The event will include festive music on the organ, carolers, a hot chocolate station, popcorn, walking history tours around the Village, and culminate with the official lighting of the Music Hall.
