The Historic Hodge Cemetery is located just north of Clyde Road, near Read and Fenton roads.
History
- Willard Church, a Revolutionary War Veteran, is buried here.
- One of the oldest known burials is Charlotte Horton who passed away on June 1, 1847. Charlotte was the wife of Rev. John Horton.
Present
- Hodge Cemetery is the only cemetery in Hartland Township where plots may be purchased.
- This is also the only cemetery that offers Columbarium niches for the memorialization of cremated remains.
- There is a manual well pump on site.
Gravesites are $670 each.
Columbarium Niche for cremated remains:
- $550 for a single niche (houses one urn)
- $895 for a double niche (houses two urns)
