UPDATE: Township Hall closed, employees to begin working remotely and answering calls, emails
Hartland Township’s staff met Monday (March 23) and determined that Township Hall will be closed, in keeping with the governor's orders.
However, Township staff will still be working remotely and continuing Township operations, via phone, email, website, mail, fax, or our secure dropbox, which is located in front of Township Hall. As voicemails will be forwarded remotely, if you call our staff or our general line at (810) 632-7498, and one of our Township staff will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
Here’s what this closure means for some specific Township functions:
Treasurer’s Office:
- Remember that you can also leave payments in the secured dropbox at the front entry of Township Hall.
Parks:
-
While our parks’ restrooms are not currently open for the season, we encourage Hartland residents to use our parks and walking paths to get outside and exercise—while practicing safe social distancing, of course. Note that playground equipment is not disinfected, so we discourage the use of our park’s playscapes at this time.
Clerk’s Office:
- The next election is not until August, but you can still access absentee ballot applications online.
Our staff remain committed to serving you, and we are striving to make every effort to do so as effectively and efficiently as possible, while also maintaining social distancing. As always, you can reach us at (810) 632-7498 or communications@hartlandtwp.com.
