After 15 years of service and two perfect score AMAR’s (2015 & 2020), Hartland Township’s Assessor is retiring effective March 31^st.  We are currently seeking an MAAO (3) Assessor with 3 to 5 years of progressive experience. Hartland Township has one school district and currently no special assessment rolls. We have 5900 real and 380 personal property parcels. 

Responsibilities include supervising two department staff, preparing the assessment roll, preparing and administering the annual department and Board of Review budgets, establishing all assessing department policies and procedures, review, approval and administrating land divisions in conjunction with the Planning Director. Maintaining Board of Review functions and administrating on all tribunals.

The assessor reports to and works under the general supervision of Township Manager while providing leadership and supervising staff within the Assessing Department.
