Roads
The roads in the Township are owned by either the State of Michigan, Livingston County, or are privately owned. The Township neither owns nor maintains any roads within its borders. If you would like to reach out to the Livingston County Road Commission with a concern or road issue, you can do so directly on their website: Report a Road Issue
However, the Department of Public Works acts as a liaison between both the Livingston County Road Commission and the Michigan Department of Transportation as a service to our residents. Additionally, the Township funds three applications of chloride to gravel roads each year both as a maintenance measure and to control dust.
Service requests for road emergencies and routine maintenance can be reported to the Livingston County Road Commission by calling (517) 546-4250 during normal business hours.
